Bengali Babe Madhurima Banerjee born on 14th May, 1987 in Mumbai, Maharashtra is an Indian model, TV and film actress. Following appearances in various television serials, she made her feature film debut in 'Toss: A Flip of Destiny (2009)' and went on to act in several Telugu films.
Madhurima made her feature film debut in Toss: A Flip of Destiny (2009). The same year she appeared in her first Telugu film. She went on to act in three Telugu projects within the next one year, including the female lead role in Vamsy's Saradaga Kasepu and a cameo role in Orange, directed by Bhaskar. However, none of the Telugu films helped her career. In 2012, her second Bollywood film Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal directed by Priyadarshan released. She was last seen in the Telugu film Shadow.
She became signed for a Tamil film, Kadamai Kanniyam Kattupadu. A remake of the Hindi film Ab Tak Chhappan, it was later renamed as Eepeeko. She has signed another Tamil film opposite Vinay Rai to helmed by Malayalam director Anil Kumar. She has completed the Malayalam film Black Coffee, in which she plays a Malayali living in Mumbai. She has signed another Malayalam film Koothara, in which she will essay the role of Shaista, an NRI, besides a Telugu film, directed by Maruti and starring Allu Sirish, and two Tamil films. One of the Tamil films is directed by Malayalam director Anil Kumar, in which she will play the love interest of Vinay Rai.
